Feedly Tips & Tricks

This weeks discussion and assignments was my first introduction to using Feedly. I thought it would be a great opportunity to research and learn how to effectively use RSS tech and blog about what I have learnt.

One really great tip when using Feedly on mobile is changing the ways stories appear on Feedly. After adding everyones blog to my Feedly, I found it hard to navigate through them all. Then I learnt that you switch between title, list, magazine, and card view. I like title view because I can see “unread” blogs.

Another great tool within Feebly is the ability to add Youtube channels and Podcasts. I think this tool is a great way to keep up to date on podcasts and Youtube videos that you may want to share within your Personal Learning Network. Adding Youtube channels or podcasts works the same way as adding blogs. Just search the URL of the podcast or Youtube channel, and then add it to your Feedly.

I am still getting the hang of using Feebly, but after spending some time with it over the last few days I have began to really enjoy the convenience of having everything in one place.
