I spent some time looking for an interesting new educational tech tool and came across new company called “GREAT BIG STORY”. To get an idea of what this company is all about, here is their mission statement:
“We believe there is magic in the world and it’s our mission in life to help you discover it. We search for stories showing a sense of optimism for the world…because goodness can grow through the smallest cracks in the sidewalk.” – GREAT BIG STORY
There many people doing great things and GREAT BIG STORY is trying to capture these people and events through short professionally produced high quality videos. GREAT BIG STORY believes that today videos can be seen as the new “text” and can be consumed much better through video format than traditional text.
This company has a lot of potential to become a valuable tool in a persons personal learning network giving people the chance to share videos that may pique your curiosity and the curiosity of others in your PLN. What are your thoughts about GREAT BIG STORY?

I am always supportive of broadcasting positive actions. Sadly, “the news” focuses on negative actions as that is what sells. I am glad a company has dedicated itself to good news. Where are the videos available? Thank you for spreading the word.
